MONROEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Alabama State Troopers say a 12-year-old boy died when the ATV he was operating overturned in Monroe County.

Troopers tell the Press-Register (https://bit.ly/2gyN40X) the boy, whose name hasn’t been released, is from Stapleton, a community in Baldwin County.

Authorities say a 10-year-old, who was also riding on the ATV, was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The ATV crash occurred Saturday morning on Tunnel Hill Road approximately 12 miles north of Monroeville.
