WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) - Authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with a West Valley City road rage incident that led to shots being fired.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/2g8DyVk ) that two men, ages 20 and 24, have been booked into the Salt Lake County on suspicion of attempted murder and failing to stop at the command of an officer. The third suspect, a juvenile, was taken to a youth facility on suspicion of attempted murder.

A jail report shows the suspects were involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle carrying a couple and their child on Saturday night.

The report says one of the suspects fired shots into the family’s vehicle before the driver sped off.

Police located and arrested the suspects a short time later.
