MCKENNEY, Va. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a gunman they say shot a customer during the robbery of a convenience store in Dinwiddie County.

Media outlets report that the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery happened Sunday night at the Quick Mart on Boydton Plank Road in McKenney.

Officials say an armed person entered the store and during the course of a robbery, a customer was shot. That customer was flown to VCU Medical Center, but officials did not have details of the person’s condition.
