ALEXANDRIA, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire hunter is fine after he became lost in the Bear Mountain area of Alexandria and called for help.

Fish and Game Department conservation officers say 55-year-old Donald Stokoe, of Alexandria, lost his way on Sunday night. He became disoriented and called for help after finding a snowmobile trail junction. That helped a conservation officer find him and respond.

Officers say Stokoe was well equipped for the weather with adequate clothing, flashlight, compass, and essential gear.
