HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police say five children and one adult had minor injuries after a woman crashed into two vehicles near Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2gOP2hP ) that Henderson police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards says the woman hit a vehicle on Sunday night and fled the scene, only to strike another car. Richards says the woman remained at the scene of the second accident.

Four children and an adult were in the car the woman. The four kids, a child from another vehicle and an adult were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating whether the woman was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
