CHATTAROY, W.Va. (AP) - A 73-year-old woman has died in a Chattaroy house fire.

Chattaroy Volunteer Fire Department Chief Joe Rumore tells local media the fire was reported shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday. The woman died after her caregiver couldn’t get her out of the burning house.

The woman’s name hasn’t been released. Her caregiver was not injured.

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
