LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities suspect a 42-year-old woman stabbed a man at a homeless camp in north Lincoln.

Police say in a news release that the stabbing occurred a little before 8 p.m. Saturday. The 45-year-old victim was taken to a hospital.

The woman soon was arrested on suspicion of assault and use of a deadly weapon. Online court records don’t yet show that she’s been formally charged.

The records also show that she’s been awaiting sentencing Dec. 16 on two counts of disturbing the peace.
