LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Authorities have identified three Lexington men killed in a crash on Interstate 64 in Frankfort.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/2fAj20S ) said Franklin County Coroner Will Harrod identified the men Thursday as 46-year-old Julio Cesar Ramirez, 40-year-old Santiago Jimenez Lopez and 28-year-old Jose Luis Rodriquez Lobos. The men died after a van they were in went off the road and hit a tree.

Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton said earlier the injured driver of the van told police it blew a tire and he lost control Wednesday.

Harrod said the injuries to the three men were consistent with blunt-force trauma.

The investigation was continuing.
