OGDEN, Utah (AP) - A Christmas tree destined for the U.S. Capitol will make a pit stop in Ogden this month.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/2e60iFp ) that the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree will visit Ogden on Nov. 15 as part of its 25-city tour on the wat to Washington, D.C.

Hot chocolate, presentations by public officials and entertainment will be provided at the tree’s stop in Utah.

The tree was cut on Nov. 2 near McCall, Idaho, and will stop in various cities before being lit at the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol in early December.
