CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The Charleston County coroner’s office has identified the two people killed in a wreck earlier this week.

The coroner’s office told local media outlets Monday that 24-year-old Amy DeChirico and 31-year-old Henry Smith, both of James Island, died at the scene early Sunday.

Police said a pickup ran off a road about 5:40 a.m. and hit a tree and overturned several times. All four people were thrown from the truck.

The two other people were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital for treatment. Their names have not been released and there was no word on their conditions.

Charleston police are still investigating the wreck.
