CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say six juveniles were arrested at a mall near Boston that was evacuated after a crowd gathered for an event featuring a rapper and a pro basketball player.

Cambridge police say a crowd of more than 1,000 people became unruly at the CambridgeSide Galleria after arriving for a Monday event with the rapper Desiigner and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, who were scheduled to meet fans at the Champs Sports store.

Police from nearby departments were called to the scene to help clear the mall. Police say officers were targeted with glass, bricks and other objects while dispersing the crowd. No officers were injured.

Police used pepper spray to help control the crowd.

Four boys and two girls were charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. They face arraignment Tuesday.
