LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville has signed a three-player recruiting class ranked among the top five nationally.

Cardinals coach Rick Pitino announced the signing of 6-foot-11 forward/center Malik Williams, ranked among the top 30 by several scouting sites; 6-2 guard Darius Perry and 6-8 forward Lance Thomas, both of whom are top-100 players. Pitino called the group “triple-threat guys” in a release Wednesday and added that they are “players who can shoot, pass and beat guys off the dribble.”

Williams averaged 21.2 points and 13.1 rebounds per game last season for Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Perry averaged 15 points, 4.3 assists and 4 rebounds per contest at Wheeler High in Marietta, Georgia, while Thomas had 8.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per contest for Norcross High in Georgia.
