BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) - An 84-year-old New York woman is on probation for five years after admitting to selling pain pills to an undercover agent.

Laura Viehdeffer was sentenced Tuesday in Genesee County Court, where she pleaded guilty in August to criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Authorities say Viehdeffer, who will turn 85 next month, sold three hydrocodone pills to a member of the Genesee County Drug Task Force for $10 each.
