KANAB, Utah (AP) - Authorities say they have found the body of a missing hunter at the bottom of a cliff in southern Utah.

KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2eeN19P ) that Kane County Chief Deputy Alan Alldredge says it seems that 42-year-old Ryan Shakespear of Cedar City slipped and fell off a cliff while hunting deer. Authorities say he fell about 150 feet.

Shakespear was reported missing early Tuesday when he failed to return to his family cabin. His family last heard from him at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The sheriff’s office says a search team was on its way to the area when a family member found Shakespear’s body.

Shakespear worked for the Bureau of Land Management in Cedar City.
