ROOSEVELT, Utah (AP) - Authorities in Duchesne County are searching for a man who they believe is connected to a homicide and kidnapping.

Sheriff’s Lt. Jeremy Curry say 34-year-old James Main, Jr. remained at large Saturday.

Curry says the body of a 56-year-old man was discovered at a home during the investigation of Main’s alleged abduction of two men at gunpoint Friday night.

Authorities believe the two cases are connected.

According to victims, Main forced them into a vehicle north of Roosevelt and took them to a home.

The victims and another person got into an altercation and Main fired a shot before fleeing in a car.

Curry is believed to be driving a white 2000 Ford F-250 extended cab truck with license plate A020NK.

Anyone encountering him should use caution.
