PROVO, Utah (AP) - The Latest on a missing hiker who was with a 14-year-old boy killed in a fall in Provo Canyon (all times local):

10:44 a.m.

The body of a man who was hiking with a foreign exchange student who died after falling in Provo Canyon has been found.

Utah County sheriff’s Lt. Erik Knutzen says the body of 28-year-old Brandon Reas, of Springville, was located Sunday around 8 a.m.

A search and rescue team is working to recover his body.

Knutzen says investigators are trying to determine what led to Reas and 14-year-old Kedi Chen’s deaths.

According to Knutzen, hikers found Chen’s body Saturday evening at the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Investigators later learned that Chen, a Chinese national who lives in Nara, Japan, had only arrived in Utah that day as part of a short-term exchange program.

He was being hosted by Reas and his family.

Authorities say a 14-year-old foreign exchange student died after falling from a cliff in Provo Canyon and the man hosting him remains missing.

Utah County sheriff’s officials resumed their search Sunday for 28-year-old Brandon Reas, of Springville, around Bridal Veil Falls.

Sgt. Spencer Cannon says Reas had been hiking with Kedi Chen, whose body was found the night before.

Deputies were alerted Saturday evening to reports of an injured teenage boy at the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

They located Chen, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Cannon, the boy was from China but lived in Nara, Japan. He only arrived in Utah that day for a visit that was only to last a few days.

Reas and his family were hosting Chen.
