SEATTLE (AP) - It’s Halloween, but it’s also an important day for the Nov. 8 general election.

Monday, October 31, is the last day to register to vote in Washington state for next Tuesday’s election.

According to the Washington Secretary of State’s office, the deadline to register online or by mail has already passed. Those deadlines were Oct. 10 for the Nov. 8 election.

But you can register in person at your county elections department through Oct. 31.

A map of elections departments can be found on the Secretary of State’s website.
