DETROIT (AP) - Police say gunfire at a vigil for a slain man in Detroit left two people wounded.

Detroit police Commander Arnold Williams says more than 100 people were at the vigil on Monday night on the city’s east side when two people opened fire from bushes in a nearby field. WXYZ-TV reports the vigil was for a 23-year-old man killed in the area on Sunday.

WJBK-TV reports Monday’s shooting wounded a man and woman in their 50s. They’re expected to survive. Police are seeking suspects.
