FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) - The Davis School District Board of Education is looking to edit sexual health videos to get rid of references to some words and concepts.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/2dUVsHM ) that at a meeting Tuesday, board vice president Mona Andrus made a motion to update the videos to remove words like “boobs” and “wet dreams” from the videos as well as comments about breast or penis size or causes of erections.

The motion was made in response to parent feedback. Health videos are shown to boys and girls separately and are not mandatory, but some parents said they did not like the casual nature of all the content shown.

The school board voted to postpone the issue until they could find more information about the district’s ability to edit the videos.
