NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Attorney General Loretta Lynch is holding a justice forum in New Jersey’s largest city.

Lynch on Friday will discuss community policing in Newark as part of a national tour in the wake of police shootings of citizens and of premeditated attacks on police officers.

The attorney general will be joined by U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman, Mayor Ras Baraka and Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose.

The Justice Department will eventually release a report with recommendations to improve relations between police and their communities.
