TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a New Jersey chiropractor accused of inappropriately touching three female patients has agreed to a temporary suspension of his license.

State Attorney General Christopher Porrino made the announcement Wednesday, more than a month after 45-year-old Archer Irby was arrested and charged with criminal sexual contact.

Prosecutors say a woman reported that the Leonia man toucher her inappropriately while treating her for neck pain on July 27 and then kissed her during another treatment days later. She fled the Englewood office and reported the incidents to police.

Authorities say one of Irby’s accusers says he exposed himself to her.

Porrino says Irby has been hiding behind his chiropractic license to “use patients for his own sexual gratification.”

Irby has declined to comment to The Record.
