CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Chandler say they’ve arrested a man who allegedly shot and killed a known acquaintance last week.

They announced Wednesday that 40-year-old Nick Sublasky has been booked into jail on suspicion of one count of first-degree murder.

It’s unclear if Sublasky has a lawyer yet.

Police investigators believe Sublasky killed 44-year-old Steve Hogarth last Thursday evening.

Officers responded to an area near Ray and McQueen roads after reports of a shooting.
