ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Enid man was killed when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle on Interstate 35 in Carter County.

The OHP says 42-year-old David Harber died when he was struck shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday about 1 mile north of Ardmore.

A police report says Harber was trying to cross the interstate on foot when he was struck in a northbound lane.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The report says the weather was cloudy and the interstate was dry at the time of the accident.
