PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona are higher at the pumps this week heading into the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.10 per gallon, up by almost 4 cents from last week.

This week’s national average is $2.22 per gallon, up by more than 2 cents from last week.

Despite recent price increases, Triple-A analysts expect Arizona drivers will pay the lowest Labor Day holiday gas prices in more than a decade.

Tucson currently has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $1.94 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.36.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.96 a gallon and California the highest at $2.68.
