PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - Police have recovered 10 weapons believed to be stolen from a home in Portsmouth, along with several fishing rods worth thousands of dollars.

The Portsmouth Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2caF6cE ) 36-year-old Barkym Brown of the Bronx, New York, was arrested Saturday.

The homeowner told officers he had 15 guns stored in a safe that was broken into.

A tip led police to a vehicle in Brown’s possession, which they said contained 10 of the guns. Among the haul was a Ruger AR-15 rifle and a loaded Mossberg shotgun.

Police are still investigating whether 15 guns were stolen, since only 10 were found.

Brown was arraigned Monday and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 1. He is being held on $75,000 bail. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer.
