MIDVALE, Utah (AP) - Two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Midvale.

Unified police said Friday that 28-year-old Jonathan Rodgers and 36-year-old Christopher Bailey were taken into custody.

U.S. marshals and Ogden police arrested Rodgers on Thursday.

Bailey was being held in Salt Lake City on a federal probation violation. Police have not yet booked him on a murder charge.

Authorities say both suspects entered an apartment Sept. 3.

According to a jail report, they demanded money and drugs.

Rodgers allegedly pointed a gun at the victims and Bailey had his hands around the neck of one of them.

Deondre Baldwin was shot and the 21-year-old died at a hospital.

Another victim, 20-year-old Brenner Larson, remains in critical condition.

Rodgers had an outstanding warrant for a failed court appearance.
