BISBEE, Ariz. (AP) - Cochise County sheriff’s officials say an experimental aircraft has crashed in Bisbee but nobody was seriously hurt.

Deputies say the crash of an ultralight plane occurred around 9 a.m. Saturday just west of the Bisbee Airport.

They responded to the crash scene and located a 37-year-old Sierra Vista man who appeared not have suffered any injuries.

The man told deputies he had just completed refinishing the aircraft and was testing it at the airport.

The man says the motor died when the plane was between 700 and 800 feet off the ground.
