DELAND, Fla. (AP) - Mike Yonker had a touchdown reception and another on the ground to lead Stetson to a 30-15 win over Warner on Saturday night.

After Cole Mazza capped a 75-yard game-opening drive for Stetson, Yonker followed with a 31-yard reception from Gaven DeFilippo and a 6-yard scoring run, both capping short, quick drives.

Following a field goal for NAIA-member Warner (1-1), DeFilippo hit Donald Parham for a 6-yard touchdown to put the Hatters up 27-3 at the half.

DeFilippo completed 24 of 36 passes for 229 yards as Stetson had 377 yards of total offense.

Warner had 248 yards but also had four turnovers. Steven Frost completed just 6 of his 17 passes but two went for touchdowns.

He connected with Jamal McIntyre for 59 yards in the third quarter and Theo Hammonds for 10 in the fourth. DJ Davis threw three of the four Royal interceptions.
