MISSOURI CITY, Texas (AP) - Officials say two high school students have been arrested over a spate of BB gun shootings in a Houston-area neighborhood that left three people slightly hurt.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old male was arrested Friday at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City on a misdemeanor charge of making a terroristic threat. A 17-year-old male was arrested at home on a felony charge of injury to a child.

Authorities say the BB gun attacks happened Aug. 19 through Aug. 27 at Sienna Plantation.

One man was shot in the leg while riding a bike. Another victim was shot in the shoulder while walking his dog. Authorities say a 12-year-old boy was shot on the left side of his body. Other individuals were threatened.
