ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - An April trial date has been set for a federal security officer charged with killing three people, including his estranged wife, in a shooting rampage in Maryland.

The Washington Post (https://wapo.st/2bQAoA0 ) reports that the trial for 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil is set for April 3. Tordil has pleaded not guilty in the case and did not speak at Friday’s scheduling hearings in Rockville. The trial had previously been set for November.

Tordil is accused of killing his wife, Gladys Tordil, and two other people during apparent carjacking attempts before being caught. Tordil is alleged to have shot his wife May 5 and the other two people on May 6.
