PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve pulled a body from the Cooper River in southern New Jersey.

Pennsauken police say a rower discovered the man’s body just before 8 a.m. Thursday and called 911. Authorities pulled the body from the stream near the running track at Cooper River Park.

Investigators didn’t immediately identify the man.

An autopsy was conducted, but the results weren’t immediately available.

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are under investigation.
