WEATON, Ill. (AP) - Bond has been set at $3 million for an 18-year-old man accused of kidnapping a Wheaton College student last week and forcing him at gunpoint to withdraw money from ATMs.

The DuPage County state’s attorney’s office says two other suspects are being sought in the kidnapping that netted the robbers over $1,500. The bond hearing was Friday.

Abeet Ramos, of South Elgin, is charged with aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint.

Prosecutors say the victim was walking in downtown Glen Ellyn around 10 a.m. when two men got out of an SUV, displayed a handgun and ordered him in. Prosecutors say the victim was driven to Chicago later and released.

The next hearing for Ramos is Sept. 13. It’s wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
