GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - A Green Bay man has been arrested after a long standoff with police.

Officers say they were called to a duplex about 1:30 a.m. Friday because the man was creating a disturbance in his upper level apartment.

Police say the man fired a gun from a back porch when officers arrived and then went back inside. SWAT officers tried to communicate with the man and eventually used chemicals and a non-lethal explosive device to get him to surrender.

He eventually came out of the duplex and was arrested about 6 a.m.
