LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - A Lawton man has pleaded guilty in the stabbing death of his roommate.

Court records show 39-year-old Sigfredo Sisco pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder, unlawful removal of a dead body and desecration of a dead body in the June 2015 death of 28-year-old Trevor Boyer at the home they shared in south Lawton.

Boyer’s body was found buried beneath a shed behind the home.

Investigators have said Boyer was stabbed during a fight with Sisco.

Sisco initially told police Boyer stabbed himself to death after an argument and that he had buried the body because he was scared.

Sisco faces 27 years in prison when sentenced in October.
