WINCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a Massachusetts man has succumbed to serious injuries sustained in a nearly head-on crash along state Route 10 in Winchester.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2bY37rq ) 29-year-old Eric Williams was pronounced dead Thursday night at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.

Williams was traveling north on the roadway when his Honda Civic crossed over the double yellow line and collided with a Subaru Forester due south at about 5:30 p.m.

The driver of the Subaru, a 66-year-old Vermont man, was taken to Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Massachusetts, for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The accident remains under investigation by state police.
