FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a grand jury has indicted a babysitter on a charge of second-degree murder in the death of an infant.

A TBI statement says a Lincoln County grand jury handed down the indictment Tuesday against 20-year-old Casey Ryan Dollar in the death of 3-month-old Tony Carter on May 18.

TBI special agents investigated the case with detectives from the Fayetteville Police Department. Authorities say the investigation found that Dollar, who was babysitting the infant, was responsible for the death.

Dollar was arrested and booked into the Lincoln County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

Online records don’t show whether Dollar has an attorney.
