DORTMUND, Germany (AP) - Borussia Dortmund says defender Marc Bartra is out with a groin injury and will be sidelined for an indeterminate period.

Bartra was injured early in Dortmund’s 5-1 Bundesliga win in Wolfsburg on Tuesday and was substituted after 12 minutes.

While Dortmund did not specify how long the Spain international will be out, he is likely to miss Friday’s match against Freiburg and the Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday in Dortmund.

Bartra joined Dortmund from Barcelona this summer.
