SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah’s Hogle Zoo has welcomed a new face and now a new name with the baby burro Burro-ito.

KUTV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2cp38oh ) that Burro-ito was born Sept. 6 but only just adopted his new name. Zoo officials say the young burro is adjusting well to animal care staff and is getting along well with the other burros and mustangs.

Hogle Zoo, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, houses wild horses and burros. Typically the animals arrive in April and stay at the zoo through October.

The partnership allows the BLM to showcase a few of the wild horses and donkeys available for adoption or sale.

Along with Burro-ito, the zoo is currently home to two wild mustangs and two burros.
