LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man found covered in blood outside a Las Vegas apartment has been arrested in the beating deaths of a two people.

Las Vegas police said the suspect may have been living with the man and woman before the Tuesday afternoon slayings.

Police say the man was arrested after neighbors reported someone walking around the apartment complex near Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road covered in blood.

Lt. Dan McGrath said officers found the bodies inside a first-floor apartment after they arrived at the scene.

Police have said they are investigating whether a baseball bat was used in the slayings.
