KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - A Klamath County man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading no contest to charges of rape and felon in possession of a firearm.

The Herald and News reports (https://is.gd/WRgDlH ) that David Foxen of Rocky Point was arrested two years ago after the young victim was interviewed by Klamath-Lake Child Abuse Response & Evaluation Services.

The girl said Foxen forced sexual contact on her multiple times between 2008 and 2011 when she was younger than 6 years old.

Foxen has denied wrongdoing, and the 60-year-old man was not required to admit culpability in Monday’s plea.
