FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run suspect in a crash that killed a bicyclist in Larimer County.

The Coloradoan reports (https://noconow.co/2d5Ayc9 ) that 43-year-old Jason Holden, of Berthoud, died at the scene of the Tuesday night crash near Carter Lake.

The Colorado State Patrol says a white sedan or SUV may have made contact with the bicycle while passing it, causing Holden to lose control and fall onto the road. The victim was then struck by a pickup truck.

The driver of the truck was uninjured and remained at the scene after the crash.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of the white vehicle.

Holden’s death marks the county’s 37th traffic fatality this year. Records show there were 31 deaths at the same time last year.
