PHOENIX (AP) - Fire officials are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home, resulting in explosions heard by neighbors who reported the blaze and then by responding firefighters.

Fire Capt. Reda Bigler says it’s not immediately known what exploded during the Thursday morning fire in northwest Phoenix. According to Bigler, possibilities include ammunition and propane.

Bigler says the mobile home’s owner wasn’t at home and that two neighbors suffered minor injuries while evacuating their home because of the nearby fire.

The mobile home that burned was near West Deer Valley Road and North 35th Avenue.
