DELMAR, Md. (AP) - The State Fire Marshal’s Office say a woman has been charged with setting a fire in her Delmar apartment after she had complained about the air conditioning not working.

The office said in a news release that the fire was reported on June 2. Authorities say 30 firefighters battled the blaze for 20 minutes before bringing it under control. No one was hurt, and damage was estimated at $60,000.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that investigators determined fired had been sent in a utility closet and a hallway.

Fire marshals say 31-year-old Jamie N. Joynes was arrested Wednesday in Delaware and is charged with arson and other offenses. She waived extradition and was released on $75,000 bond.

It could not be determined if Joynes has a lawyer.
