RAYNHAM, Mass. (AP) - The victim of a traffic crash on Interstate 495 in Raynham this week has been identified as a business student and cheerleader at Bridgewater State University.

Police say 19-year-old Hayley Sanford was headed south at about 7 p.m. Wednesday when she changed lanes and her Jeep made contact with a vehicle driven by a 76-year-old New Bedford woman. Sanford’s Jeep rolled over in the median and she was ejected. She was flown to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The other woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Sanford was a 2014 graduate of Seekonk High School who had just started taking classes at Bridgewater State after transferring in from community college. Her father is an Attleboro firefighter.
