WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says weekend work will affect rail travelers.

Metro says that on the orange line, buses will replace trains between Vienna and East Falls Church from 7 a.m. Saturday through closing on Sunday. On the silver, blue and yellow lines, trains will operate every 20 minutes from 10 p.m. Friday until closing Sunday. Yellow line trains will operate to or from Mt. Vernon Square rather than Fort Totten.

Green and red line trains will operate at regular weekend intervals. There will be single tracking between Wheaton and Glenmont on the red line to allow for the installation of communication cable.
