CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A Ladson man has been arrested after investigators say he used a mobile classifieds app to lure victims in four separate armed robberies in the Lowcountry.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office tells local media that 18-year-old Jumahn Tolbert was recently arrested and charged with four counts of armed robbery.

All of the incidents occurred in September. Investigators say Tolbert talked to his victims of “Letgo,” a mobile app for classified advertisements. He is accused of using aliases to set a buy or sell date with each of his victims.

The sheriff’s office says that after meeting each person, Tolbert pulled out a handgun and robbed them. None of the victims were injured.

It’s unclear if Tolbert has an attorney.
