Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said the unidentified woman’s body will be sent to the Mississippi Forensics Lab in Jackson for autopsy.

McDaniel said detectives are still in the preliminary phase of the investigation. He says they hope forensics or tips from the public will help them identify the body and may allow them to match the remains to a missing person from the area.
