UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Two people are dead after a car wreck in Forestville.

Prince George’s County police say the wreck occurred at about 1:15 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Parkland Drive.

Police say 27-year old Howard Jackson was turning from Parkland Drive onto Pennsylvania Avenue when he was struck by a car that ran a red light. Police say Jackson and his passenger, 50-year-old Pandora Bracmort, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other car was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
