ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in Orange County say nobody was hurt but nearly a dozen vehicles were damaged when fire ripped through carports at an Anaheim apartment complex.
KCBS-TV says firefighters responded around 2 a.m. Tuesday to reports of several vehicles on fire.
Crews were able to douse the flames in about 25 minutes, protecting other vehicles parked at the complex and preventing the fire from spreading to residential structures.
At least 11 vehicles were seriously damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
