ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police have arrested a Pineville man for his role in the May death of a teen-aged passenger in his truck.

Troopers on Friday say 24-year-old Micah D. Baden faces a charge of vehicular homicide and is being held at the Rapides Parish Detention Center. It was unknown if he’s represented by an attorney.

Baden was driving the night of May 18 when he lost control of a 2007 Ford pickup and exited the right side of Louisiana 3225. Investigators say the truck traveled onto a private driveway and collided with a parked semi-trailer.

Baden received moderate injuries in the accident. His only passenger, 16-year-old Chloe R. James of Ball, was pronounced dead. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
